Radio Cazin is a local Bosnian public radio station broadcasting from Cazin, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Radio Cazin was founded on 2 September 1975 by the municipality of Cazin, and was originally a subsidiary of the Radio Sarajevo network. Since 1993 Radio Cazin has had a sister television service called RTVC. Radio Cazin’s programming includes a wide variety of programmes such as music, sports, local news and talk shows. Due to its favourable geographical position, Radio Cazin easily covers the entire region of Bosanska Krajina, as well as a part of Lika-Senj county in neighbouring Croatia, to an average audience of 60 thousand loyal followers.

During the development of Radio Cazin’s new main studio, the company’s technical management decided to make a clear commitment to AEQ’s digital technology in the form of its AEQ AUDIOPLUS automation system and the AEQ FORUM installation’s central console.

AEQ AudioPLUS brings AEQ technology in computer broadcasting systems to those radio stations that professional automation has not yet been able to reach. Designed for Windows operating systems and SQL Server databases, it has a simple self-installation wizard, is compatible with low-cost audio cards and has complementary editing and management tools.

Finally, the AEQ FORUM IP SPLIT console is a mixing console designed for ONAIR broadcast control. It incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic monitor cut, cough cut, faderstart, signalling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication, etc.

With its modular design and small size, it adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, control-locutory, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations, integration in large installations, etc. Simplicity and control power are combined in the AEQ FORUM IP console to cover both basic and advanced operation needs. The FORUM IP SPLIT version comes with the FR CORE modular engine in 3 rack units. It can be composed of up to 6 quad fader modules and a control and monitoring unit.
