Radiotelevisión Ceuta (RTVCE), the city's municipal media company, has strengthened itscommunications with the integration of AEQ's Intercom XPLORER MAX system. Since its inception in 2000, RTVCE has grown to become a local benchmark, offeringcontinuous programming on public television and radio (99.0 FM) and always adapting to theneeds of citizens. Today, its team of nearly 30 professionals guarantees a modern, accessible, and high-quality service, backed by up-to-date and technologically advancedfacilities. AEQ XPLORER MAX REVOLUTIONIZESCOMMUNICATIONS AT RTVCEXplorer MAX is a wireless intercom beltpackbased on innovative, high-performance digitalradio technology. It comes with all thefeatures and functions of the intercom userpanel, with four shortcut keys organized intoup to 4 pages, two additional programmablekeys, and a multifunction display. It can workwith any AEQ intercom matrix, such asConexia, Crossnet, or TH5000. It alsointegrates with Xpeak, AEQ's matrix-freeintercom system, or as a terminal for theParty-Line Easynet system. AEQ XPLORER MAX system supports up to 20transceivers on a single antenna, with amaximum range of 700 meters in open field, and the option to link up to 4 antennas inlarge deployments to further expand thecoverage area or the number of transceiversdeployed. The implementation includes a complete intercom system: AEQ Crossnet 72 matrix4 AEQ TP8116 16-button rack panels1 AEQ TP8116 + EP8116 32-button rack panel2 AEQ TP8416 16-button desktop panels4 PHOENIX VENUS 4, integrated as IP codec (AoIP) and VoIP calls. Ricardo Lacasa, Technical Director at RTVCE, highlights the transformation that this systemhas brought about: «Definitely, if there is one thing that has changedsignificantly in our channel since our beginningsin 2000 until now, it has been the immediacy ofthe news or event and our presence at the scenewhere they occur. This change implies a need forsubstantial improvement in communications. After replacing the old KROMA TM6000 analogmatrix with the current AEQ CrossNET 72, coordination between the different workstationshas changed radically, to the point where todayit would be practically impossible to do withoutit.» XPLORER MAX, the latest addition to theIntercom system, has exceeded RTVCE'sexpectations: «It easily covers the interior ofour 800-square-meter facility, which hasnumerous interior divisions, with a singleantenna.» This technological upgrade positions RTVCE at the forefront of communication efficiency fortelevision media, ensuring optimal coordination and coverage at all times.
